In the fifth year of the full-scale war, Ukraine is increasingly seen as something many of us on the ground have known it to be for a long time: an indispensable security partner, a center of technological innovation, and a place where real-world experience is shaping the future of allied defense, resilience, and democratic cooperation.

Building meaningful partnerships requires context. For many international organizations, Ukraine can seem complex. Institutions continue to evolve, new opportunities emerge quickly, and decisions are shaped by realities that are not always fully understood outside its borders. At the same time, many Ukrainian companies, startups, and public organizations are seeking to expand internationally, build lasting partnerships, and access new markets and funding.
Bridging these realities requires people who understand both. That is why we are launching Hoverla Advisory.

We are building a team that combines local and international expertise across strategic communications, international development, business partnerships, and Ukraine’s evolving security and innovation ecosystem.
For me, founding Hoverla is the continuation of a journey that began more than a decade ago during the Revolution of Dignity, when I witnessed Ukrainians insist on the right to choose their own future and their own place in the world. In the years that followed, they have defended their freedom against Russia’s authoritarian aggression, first in the east of the country and later during the full-scale invasion. For much of that time, I have had the privilege of living and working here across international development, journalism, civil society, and strategic communications. One conviction has remained constant: Ukraine’s future matters, and supporting its success has become one of the defining purposes of my professional life.
That commitment is shared by the people who make up Hoverla. We believe that strengthening international partnerships benefits Ukraine and everyone who is committed to a more secure and democratic future. Ukraine has earned its place as an essential partner through extraordinary resilience, innovation, and determination. It has demonstrated not only what it is defending, but what it contributes.
